Coastal Skipper Course - Saturday to Wednesday This is an intensive but satisfying week where you will learn to become a confident skipper during coastal passages and in more demanding situations. You will navigate into new harbours and ports by day and night. An important aspect of this course is learning to take command and make decisions resulting in relaxed, well planned passages and a happy crew. With help and advice from our Instructor, you will learn from your mistakes which will highlight your strengths and weaknesses, therefore developing your experience. The pre course requirments are: 15 days 2 days as skipper 300 miles logged 8 night hours You should have completed the RYA Coastal Skipper / Yachtmster theory shorebased course prior to this practical course.
