Sailing Course for Beginners

Course dates This really is the ideal first step for anyone wishing to experience sailing a Yacht. It's a relaxed but hands-on way to find out what’s involved with sailing a modern cruising yacht and our experienced instructors will ensure you enjoy every exhilarating minute. The RYA Start Yachting course provides a safe and friendly introduction to sailing. During the course you will experience; steering a yacht, sail handling, rope work and become aware of safety on board. Upon successful completion of the course you will be awarded the RYA Start Yachting certificate. Our training yachts are modern and comfortable Bavaria 36’s. They are 37' in length and can sleep up to 8 people in 4 cabins. However for personal comfort and in line with RYA guidelines we do not exceed 5 students per course. It really is a whole new world that opens up, once you get involved – and there’s no better way than to jump on board for a beginners sailing weekend! Total course fee only £199.
